This is the only banana bread recipe I ever use. It has a crispy little edge with a beautiful moist interior. The altered recipe comes from The News Review. It uses very healthy canna-coconut oil. For a little something extra try frosting them with cannabutter frosting. Enjoy! As a bonus, here’s an wonderfully written article from fellow blogger Helen about the excellent health benefits of coconut oil: http://www.well-beingsecrets.com/health-benefits-of-coconut-oil/
The recipe is missing ingredients….how much sugar??? And where did the cannbis flour come in??? Not listed in recipe.
Hmmmm. I just checked the recipe and it says 2 Cups sugar. It may be a lot of sugar, but this recipe is delicious. I promise.
Its 2 1/4 cups flour not cannabis flour.
Yes, cannabis flour is kind of nasty and we don’t use it anymore! Thanks for clarifying
It states cannaflour. So it’s cannaflour and canna oil still?
Probably don’t need the cannaflour. It’s not the most potent thing in the world and you just add weed flavor! We should take that portion out, but some people like it still :)
How potent is it after
Hi Robert: It’s been a while since we made these ourselves, but it’s impossible to guess at potency and challenging to make home made edibles consistent or know their potency without using lab tested hash oil. You can then dilute that into just about anything oil or butter based.
Can you use brown sugar in place of white sugar? Thank you
We’ve never used brown sugar, but definitely give it a try and let us know what happens! If you’re really unsure, make a practice batch with regular butter and brown sugar and see how they turn out :)
Very Happy had to play with loaf because of elevation but muffins and loaf made 1 loaf the rest muffins 5 ***** stars
Wonderful! Thanks for sharing your success!
Instead of canna oil can I use melted or softened canna butter?
I don’t see why this wouldn’t work. I think you may get a more buttery taste, but that’s not all bad! Also, you may have issues with them not rising/rising too much by using butter in lieu of the infused coconut oil. If you’re not sure, and don’t have a lot of canna butter to spare, try a practice batch using regular melted butter in lieu of the oil to see how the recipe turns out. Best of luck and let us know how things turn out!
